The best-known active compounds found in hemp are the so-called cannabinoids. The two most important and best studied in terms of their properties are tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). THC is responsible for the psychoactive action of hemp, whereas CBD shows anti-inflammatory, analgesic, calming and neuroprotective properties, which makes it the subject of wide interest. Female inflorescences are particularly rich in cannabinoids; they contain numerous secretory hairs that produce resin. Hemp oil

Hemp oil is obtained from the seeds of hemp (Cannabis sativa). The hemp oil in the 7-Cannabislip™ product contains no tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), that is the substance with narcotic properties. Hemp oil contains essential unsaturated fatty acids (EFAs), as well as tocopherols (vitamin E), carotenoids (provitamin A), vitamin K and minerals (potassium, sodium, calcium, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron). Hemp oil stands out for its very favourable ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 acids (3:1), which is considered optimal for the correct functioning of the body.

MCT oil

MCT oil is one of the fractions of coconut oil, a mixture of medium-chain fatty acids with a carbon chain length of C8–C10, that is caprylic acid (C8:0), capric acid (C10:0) and lauric acid (C12:0), which is its primary fatty acid. This composition of fatty acids makes MCT oil an easily absorbed and rapidly available source of energy. After consumption, MCTs are broken down in the body very quickly into glycerol and fatty acids with the help of lingual and gastric lipase. The digestion of MCTs does not require carnitine, which is necessary for the activation and oxidation of long-chain fatty acids, nor pancreatic enzymes, which is another reason for their advantages for our body.

Phospholipids

Phospholipids, led by phosphatidylcholine, are extremely important for our body. In our product the phospholipids come from sunflower lecithin. Phospholipids play a key role in numerous metabolic processes and, above all, build all the biological membranes of our body, regulate enzyme activity and control permeability and transport at the level of cell membranes.
